Jade Croot, 20, is set to light up the small screen, starring alongside Sarah Lancashire in Jack Thorne’s upcoming gritty Channel 4 drama, The Accident, as a young woman who loses the use of her legs in a building site accident.
The Welsh karate champion turned actress, who began her training at the Mark Jermin Stage School age 11, has previously worked with The Royal Shakespeare Company, and made her West End debut in Imperium at The Gielgud Theatre last year. Fresh from filming The Accident, Croot will soon start rehearsals for The National Theatre production of The Ocean at the End of the Lane, running at The Dorfman Theatre from December 3 to January 25.
